THIS IS NOT JUST A FITNESS VIDEO!

BELLYDANCE FOR CORE FITNESS endeavors to offer unique insight to dancers at all levels. Ayshe has drawn from her college background in Human Movement, yoga theory, acupuncture theory, and her personal struggle from a childhood joint disease, to present pelvic and abdominal movement and awarenes from a new and different perspective.

EVEN IF ONE IS A PROFESSIONAL DANCER OF THE HIGHEST ORDER, the 1 hour 40 min. tutorial in this dvd has synthesized information, gathered from various sources, in an attempt to present concepts that will ultimately have a transforming influence on the dancer's performing and teaching strategies.

IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER, the tutorial offers very simple explanations that will get you off on the right foot and protect you from unwanted injuries. AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO SUFFER THROUGH THE WHOLE DARN THING AT ONCE. The tutorial is divided into chapters associated with the workout, so little by little you can familiarize yourself with the
vocabulary and concepts.

AND, IF YOU JUST WANT TO HAVE A FUN WORKOUT WITH BELLYDANCE, ignore the tutorial and just jump into the dance workout. The cues are simple and clear and the music is contagious! You'll be humming it for the rest of
the day!

...AS FOR THE DANCE-WORKOUT SECTION OF DVD, it is simple enough and progressively challenging, so beginners thru professional dancers will find it useful and engaging. The MUSIC is chosen for it's upbeat, yet
earthy drive, to entice the participant to workout-- even on days when
you have that "lazy feeling", YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO RESIST ITS SPELL!

...AND, if you are already a professional dancer, this is a great
workout to WARM UP YOUR HIPS for that evening's performances, or to just use as a way to keep your pelvic and abdominal musles toned and sharp!
